A1A South Waterfront Residence is a 13,000-square-foot custom waterfront home located along the Atlantic coast in St. Augustine, Florida. The residence was conceived as a coastal estate inspired by traditional Northeastern beachfront architecture, reflecting the client’s desire for an authentic Cape Cod–influenced design in a Florida oceanfront setting.

David Marshall served as the lead architectural designer for the project, developing the overall architectural concept as well as the interior architectural elements throughout the residence. The scope of design work included the architectural layout, interior millwork design, stair design, landscape planning, pool design, and lighting coordination for the property.

The project integrates a large coastal residence with extensive outdoor living areas and carefully detailed interior spaces. The design emphasizes traditional craftsmanship, proportion, and material selection appropriate to a waterfront environment while coordinating the architectural elements across the entire estate.
